IMST always seeks to use its technological know-how to keep people safe

In this topic "Increased road safety by means of intelligent detection technologies" the ‘weaker’ road users (VRU: Vulnerable Road Users) are especially important to us. These are, for example, pedestrians or cyclists, who do not have a crumple zone. These are the VRUs on whom we focus our attention. After all, even though cars are equipped with safety-related components and can therefore detect dangerous situations, it is still not enough for the safety of the VRUs.

And that's where we at IMST GmbH come in.

In order to reduce the accident statistics of VRUs, we develop state-of-the-art radar sensors that are enhanced with artificial intelligence. These are used, in addition to the already existing cameras, as additional components to the road infrastructure, for example, at road intersections. The road users involved are given real-time information on the current traffic situation and can then react in good time to avoid an accident involving a VRU.

Because it is important to IMST GmbH to do everything in its power to keep people safe.
