The indoor range at IMST GmbH is a combined near/far field measurement system installed in a completely shielded anechoic chamber. The absorber configuration has extremely low reflections, which permits measurements over a wide frequency range from 400 MHz up to 110 GHz for far field measurements. We also calibrate standard gain horn antennas from 400 MHz to 40 GHz.

The planar/cylindrical near-field range consists of an automated 4-axis planar near-field scanner with near-field to far -field transformation software. This is the most appropriate method to determine 3-D-radiation patterns for high- gain antennas.
