IMST offers dosimetric measurements (SAR – Specific Absorption Rate) for mobile and portable wireless telecommunications equipment according to almost all relevant international standards and specifications.

State-of-the-art measurement systems at IMSTs accredited test center facilities are utilized to carry out reliable and precise SAR-figure measurements for mobile phones, cordless telephones, PC cards and/or other wireless terminals.

A full SAR compliance test contains several 'measurements of the device under test (DUT)' for either multiple frequency bands and international standards and different kind of configurations (head, body-worn, …) as well.

The most common frequencies are 450 MHz, 835 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2450 MH, 5200 MHz and 5800MHz. Compliance testing is carried out not only for the single device, but for cellular phone accessories, e.g. belts, clips, chargers, …, as well. WLAN and cellular data cards are tested at body-worn configurations with flat-phantoms, too. IMSTs SAR test laboratory is a well-recognized, commonly-accepted, leading facility for independent, publicly-accessible dosimetric measurements.
