Mobile Terminals – IMST: One Source – Multiple Tests

Modern telecommunications terminal devices undergo a large number of tests, e.g. for quality assessments and quality audits, type approvals as well as regulatory compliance tests.

Already during the development process a significant number of test and characterization procedures, e.g. for the appropriate selection of key-components as well as for the optimization of the electromagnetic (antenna), acoustic (speaker/microphone), and optical (display/monitor) properties, have to be carried out.

Having the product ready for production, in a further step type approvals, compliance tests are at the doorstep to show compliance with product specifications, regulatory requirements, device safety, etc. Later on, during the production phase test will also be required for quality assurance and product safety.
