IMST and FIELD IMAGING S.A.R.L. established a strategic collaboration
The IMST GmbH, a leading European development house for radio systems and
microelectronics and the newly established French FIELD IMAGING S.A.R.L.
closed a cooperation agreement on field application support for the EM-simulation software EMPIRE™.
The partnership let customers benefit from receiving fast and
reliable support answers by return. FIELD IMAGING S.A.R.L. will be assisted
through the IMST-representative Alain Perreur, who is an experienced salesman in
France. As an addition to this collaboration, Alain expands the sales activities to
further regions in Europe, too.

FCC has listed the EMC test facility at IMST
The regulatory authority FCC (Federal Communications Commission), who is setting the Standards for Type Approval and EMC in the US,
has listed the accredited EMC test facility at IMST. The listing - since 19. August 2008 - is according to the FCC rules, Section 2948.
A further milestone towards the internationalization of the IMST-Testcenter.

IMST now in space!
The German remote sensing satellite TerraSAR-X has been successfully launched on June 15th, 2007 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
From its orbit at 500 km above our heads the radar satellite will contribute to many services and applications in science and industry.
Scientists from IMST are very proud to be on board with the first space qualified components from IMST.
Engineers from IMST have build high-quality power distribution networks for the signal distribution of the phased array antenna.
Major achievements were excellent magnitude and phase balances as well as the reliability of the components.

Innovative ideas from Germany:
SANTANA — Antenna Terminal for Satellite Communications
IMST and the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg have presented a prototype of
an electronically steerable antenna based on digital beamforming suited for satellite
communication. This highly innovative system addresses applications in the area of
mobile satellite communication, for example between planes and satellites
(internet-in-the-sky), without the use of any mechanically moving parts.
