Schule, Wissenschaft, Weiterbildung und Forschung Projektpartner: Zielsetzung: Several studies indicate an altered expression of cellular proteins when the cells were exposed to an high frequency electromagnetic field. This effect is often called non-thermal or athermal because there was no measurable temperature rise or the field intensity is in an order of magnitude where it is more or less accepted to call it a non-thermal effect. Aim of this study was to test a new approach to identify non-thermal effects on an expression system which is known to be thermally affected. We define a non-thermal effect as such when it can not be explained or obtained by a slight general temperature elevation close to the biological system under test. Publication |
